The Story
Born from Elizabeth Gaynes’ fascination with rare natural ingredients and her discovery of sustainably sourced oud through work with Bornean farms, Strangelove NYC was founded in 2013 with a simple ambition: to create a perfume house dedicated to exceptional quality, sustainability, and the beauty of unusual materials. The brand launched at Harrods’ Salon de Parfums in 2014 with Dead of Night, and has since developed a cult collection of oud-centred fragrances created in collaboration with acclaimed perfumers and creative director Helena Christensen.
