Cuir de Russie is inspired by the timeless elegance of French perfumery and the distinctive strength of Russian leather. Originating in the 16th century, Russian leather enjoyed a solid reputation for its durability and quality. Legend has it that soldiers treated their leather with birch tar to make it waterproof. This practice gave rise to the leather note in perfumery, characterized by smoky, woody, and leathery aromas.
Each fragrance, composed of over 100 natural ingredients, matures for 3-4 months using our artisanal "maturation in drawers" technique. This traditional process allows the ingredients to integrate harmoniously, resulting in fragrances with unique depth and perfect stability.
